BEUNO was rebuilt in\u00a01835 and again in 1885.\u00a0Fittings from the old church remain as follows:<br \/>\n<em>Books:<\/em> registers, see p. cxxxi. <em>Plate:<\/em>\u00a0 (i) A small silver chalice\u00a0(Plate 40) with beaker-shaped bowl so joined at its base as to\u00a0suggest that it comes from an older chalice; the bowl decorated\u00a0with strapwork and foliage, the stem and foot with ovals and\u00a0pellets, hyphens and ovolo mould; marked JL in a shield,\u00a0probably for John Lynglay of Chester; date probably as (ii).\u00a0(ii) Silver paten-cover (Plate 40) with reeded edge fitting (i);\u00a0same mark, and date 1575 engraved on foot, with ANO\u00a0above, a sprig below, within a circle. Height of (i) 5 ins.,\u00a0diameter of (ii) 3\u00a011\/16ths\u00a0ins. (iii) Alms dish (Plate 38), of silver,\u00a0deeply embossed, with floral border, and central panel\u00a0showing a bird with four chicks. Back engraved with\u00a0LORENS FRIS\/ Ao. 1693, and inscription recording presentation\u00a0in memory of Humphrey Randolph (rector, <em>ob.<\/em> 1704)\u00a0and his wife. Foreign, probably Dutch. Oval, I I\u00a03\/8th\u00a0ins. by 9 7\/8th\u00a0\u00a0ins.\u00a0(iv) Flagon, pewter, lid lost, inscribed on base R. Thomas,\u00a0Rector 174I.
