A two storey building of the late 17th century, with a modern addition at the rear and inserted shop windows to the street. There is a tall square chimney stack at each gable and one similar on a nearly contemporary rear wing. No windows survive unaltered except a blocked one on the first floor; there are two centrally opposite doorways. Plain-chamfered beams survive above later partitions, and a flight of stairs to the attic is of late 17th-century form with turned balusters on a straight string. The two roof trusses have straight, chamfered collars; there is a similar smaller truss over the rear wing.
