Two human headed\u00a0corbels of medieval style (Plate 35) from the older\u00a0church are kept at Cefnamwlch (No. 1686), and the following\u00a0fittings remain in the present church. <em>Bell:<\/em> in bell-cote,\u00a0inscribed &#8216;Parrish of Tydwielog\/1734. Made in Dublin.&#8217;\u00a0<em>Bench:<\/em> in chancel, with disk-headed end inscribed E G 1709;\u00a0seat cut short, length now 3 ft. 9 ins. <em>Books:<\/em> for registers see\u00a0p. cxxxviii. <em>Chests:<\/em> (i) in vestry, (ii) in nave, both late 18th\u00a0century; length of(i) 3 ft. 2 ins., of(ii) 5 ft. <em>Communion Table:\u00a0<\/em>in vestry, legs baluster-turned with shallow grooves, frame and\u00a0stretchers scratch-moulded, inscribed on frame, the initials and\u00a0figures divided by patterns of dots H.I W.I y. W. D. 1713;\u00a0length 3 ft. 8 ins., width 2 ft. 6 ins., height 2 ft. 7 ins. <em>Font<\/em>\u00a0(Plate 25): at Cefnamwlch (No. 1686) on lawn opposite house,\u00a0octagonal, bowl of gritstone with central drain, chamfered\u00a0below, sides plain; shaft of sandstone, sides stop-chamfered,\u00a0square at base with pyramidal stops; all on square plinth (and\u00a0modem step). Probably 14th-century. Total height 34 ins.,\u00a0width of bowl 24 ins. <em>Memorials:<\/em> in churchyard to N. of nave,\u00a0gritstone slabs side by side and carved alike, (i) to Francis\u00a0Jones [of Llangoed, 1680], (ii) to Jane Trygarn, 16[83]. <em>Plate:<\/em>\u00a0(Plate 39): (i) Silver chalice, stem with ovolo moulding above\u00a0and below, edge of foot with egg-and-dart; these are probably\u00a0by the same maker as (ii), but the tapering bowl decorated\u00a0with I H S in a glory is probably an 18th-century reconstruction.\u00a0Height 6-1 ins.
