CYNFIL was rebuilt in\u00a01842 on its old site at the summit of the gravel ridge.\u00a0<br \/>\nFittings from the former church include: <em>Books:<\/em> registers,\u00a0see p. cxxxvii. <em>Font:<\/em> octagonal bowl of freestone inscribed\u00a0I HS 1678, said to have been discovered in 1929 at Plas-ym Mhenros\u00a0(No. 1693), where what appears to have been the\u00a0wooden cover is incorporated in panelling; on modern pillar\u00a0and base.
