Its octagonal W. turret surmounted by\u00a0a drum. with conical cap resembles that of Botwnnog church\u00a0(No. 1528).<br \/>\nFittings surviving from the previous church.-<em>Books:\u00a0<\/em>registers, see p. cxxxv. <em>Collecting Shovel:<\/em> wooden, early 19th century.<br \/>\n<em>Communion\u00a0\u00a0Rails:<\/em> part re-used on screen at W. turret,\u00a018th-century. <em>Communion Table<\/em>: plain gate-leg with stretchers\u00a018th\u00a0century,.the.top.modern. <em>Font<\/em> (Plate 25): plain circular\u00a0basin, 1 ft. 8ins. in\u00a0diameter and 9 ins. deep, the lower edge\u00a0moulded with roll repeated at the neck, the shaft seven-sided\u00a0on a chamfered plinth; 13th-14th-century. <em>Memorials:<\/em> floor\u00a0slabs: (1) to Jane, Wife of Robert Jones of Ty-yn-y-cae, 1721,\u00a0and Robert Jones, 1732; (ii) to Margaret, 2nd daughter of\u00a0Griffith Williams, Clerk, 1727; Elizabeth, wife of Griffith\u00a0WilIiams, 1710. <em>Plate:<\/em> (i) Silver chalice with deep beaker shaped\u00a0bowl engraved at middle with narrow band of laurel\u00a0leaves, on very slender stem with moulded rim at middle and\u00a0plain moulded foot. London date-letter for 1610-II; maker&#8217;s\u00a0mark, TW Y or. T YW\u00a0 as monogram in shield. Height\u00a05and 5\/8th ins.. (11) Belonging to it, SiIver paten-cover engraved with\u00a0banding containing three rows of hyphens, the foot plain. Same\u00a0makers mark. Diameter 3 ins. (iii) Paten of old Sheffield\u00a0plate, a domestic salver on three feet ornamented with acanthus\u00a0leaves.
