The walls are of roughly coursed rubble, partly\u00a0rendered, with an original ashlar chimney stack at each gable,\u00a0square and capped. Though almost every ground floor\u00a0opening has been altered, the dormer windows are original\u00a0and suggest that the house was built late in the 17th century.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/crwydro.co.uk\/edern\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/1563.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"1563\" src=\"http:\/\/crwydro.co.uk\/edern\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/1563.jpg\" width=\"517\" height=\"379\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The interior forms one room on the ground floor without any\u00a0trace of former subdivision; the entry in the N. gable is\u00a0modern. The ceiling beams have plain chamfers and stops. At\u00a0the S. gable the wide fireplace has a cambered and chamfered\u00a0bressummer, and beside it a brick-lined circular oven. The\u00a0arrangement of the upper Room is modern.
