CAIRN (Plate 3) on Mynydd Rhiw at 950 ft. above O.D. on the boundary of Rhiw-with-LlanfaeIrhys parish, which contains an adjacent cairn (see No. 1753). It is built of small stones on a weathered platform of outcrop, and is about 45 ft. in diameter. It has an apparent height of about 10 ft. on the E. and W., though the N. side is shallow where the edge of the cairn passes over the ridge of outcrop.
Condition: poor.
