LLANDYGWNNING

Llandygwnning is a medium-sized parish on the S.W. coast, mainly comprising low-lying pasture, much of which is reclaimed
marsh. It contains no important monument. The manor of Neigwl, the Prince’s seat in the commote of Cymydmaen, was centred in this township and parish, as indicated by the farm called Faerdre (at SH 253304) as well as by the several farms or houses within the parish which bear the name
Neigwl1.
