(1607) HUTS, CARN BACH

On fairly level ground about 850 ft. above a.D., near the summit. Hut (i) is 18 ft. in diameter. It is joined by a wall to hut (ii), 2 yds to the N.E., which is oval, 9 ft. N.E. to S.W., by 7 ft. Hut (iii) is 2 yds. N.W. of hut (ii), 12 ft. in diameter. The walls are about 3 ft. wide and 6 ins. high, of small rubble. The whole area is covered with loose rock, and there may be other huts near by which were not identified. The hill is named Garreg y Dinas in the Tithe Schedule.
