(1526) ENCLOSED HUT-GROUPS W.S.W. of Capel Pisgah

About 420 ft. above O.D in ground falling gently to the E. (i) An approximately triangular enclosure, the E. side being 15 yds. long from N. to S., the other two each 33 yds. long, contains at its W. angle a hut about 22 ft. in diameter with its entrance to the E.-by-S. A hollow in the N.E. corner is probably the site of a hut of similar size. All walls are of loose stone. (ii) 15 yds. N.E. of (i). A subrectangular enclosure, 25 yds. N.W.-S.E. by 20 yds., contains huts in its W. and S. corners, 15 ft. and 24 ft. in diameter respectively. The hut and enclosure walls have been robbed of stone and the site is crossed by modern field walls. Traces of terraces 200 yds. to the N.E. may be connected with this site.
Condition: overgrown.
